The ProRep Screw Spot Lamp Fitting provides an easy way to implement effective heating requirements within your vivarium. The Spot Lamp Holder is suitable for use with ES Screw E27 Spot Lamps up to a maximum of 100w. The holder comes complete with a 2 metre cable and fitted plug and is also available in an BC Bayonet B22 Fitting Version.
Instructions For Use:
Mount the lamp holder securely, directly above the basking site approximately one third from one end of the tank to create a temperature gradient allowing natural thermoregulatory behaviour. Select an appropriate colour lamp to emphasise the features of your set-up and to simulate your animal's natural environment. For use with spot lamps only.
Not suitable for use with ceramic heating elements, mercury vapour lamps or metal halide lamps. Only lamps up to a maximum of 100W can be used with this fitting. The use of a dimming thermostat is highly recommended to prevent overheating. The use of a guard is essential to ensure that your animal cannot get burnt.
